Like many of my clients, I’m very familiar with the pains and frustrations of not getting the results you want from months or even years of traditional psychotherapy or ‘talk therapy’. Traditional psychotherapy can be a long and exhausting process that may help you understand anxiety more but not necessarily provide you with the outcome you’re looking for – Anxiety resolution at the core level. This in turn leaves you feeling mentally exhausted, frustrated, unmotivated and a sense of hopelessness.
This is why I’ve spent years designing, developing, and refining my Hypnotherapy Anxiety relief Program. What is Hypnotherapy & How Will It Help Me?
Hypnotherapy is a guided form of meditation and relaxation, which taps into your conscious and subconscious mind to achieve a heightened state of awareness. By doing so, you’re able to block out unwanted distractions and instead, direct all your focus on what you want to achieve rather than doing what you don’t want any longer.
This allows yourself to effectively replace negative emotions and behaviours.
Hypnosis therapy can be scientifically measured on brain wave frequency, which ranges from low to high frequency in the following order
- Delta (low frequency) – found in deep meditation and the deepest stages of sleep
- Theta (low/mid) –occurs naturally just before sleep
- Alpha (mid) – occurs in meditation, or daydreaming
- Beta (high) – Waking consciousness
- Gamma (very high) – Rapid information processing during waking consciousness

HypnoLAB’s Anxiety Hypnotherapy program comprises 3 main stages. Here’s what you can expect in each stage.
Stage 1 – Get to the Root Cause of Your Issues
Your initial visit is an opportunity for your voice and thoughts to be heard – and most importantly, be deeply understood by an experienced professional.
I’ll be here to listen as you talk about everything that has been bothering you, holding you back, as well as all the barriers and challenges you’ve faced in your life.
We explore everything from your
- Medical history, conditions
- Signs and symptoms
- Past experiences, trauma
- Upbringing
- Family life
- Work life, and more.
By the end of your first session, you will have a clearly structured therapy plan on how to move forward. In fact, many of my clients who finish this stage feel a huge sense of relief, knowing that something real and actionable can be done to fix their problems.
Stage 2 – Create Calming Techniques To Help You Manage Your Negative Emotions
When anxiety takes over, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed with negative thoughts and emotions.
You may start to hyperventilate, panic, overthink, and struggle to function normally at all.
That’s why in stage 2, we work on developing effective calming techniques to ensure you feel in control and manage your negative emotions in a healthy way.
We address the ‘why’ behind potentially toxic or harmful behaviours, and ‘how’ you effectively change them
As you release your negative emotions, your calming techniques will help you stay calm and in control by
- Reframing the past for a more positive outlook
- Putting your emotion into context, and
- Helping you learn what to do with your body to put yourself into a calm state.
Some unhealthy behaviours we can help you address include:
- Addiction including smoking, alcohol, substance abuse, gambling etc.
- Emotional eating
- States of panic, fear, helplessness, confusion, etc.
- Unpredictable emotions, outbursts of anger, sadness
- Conflict

You’ll no longer be dependent on recurring talk therapy sessions. Instead, I’ll help you create a compelling future that will help guide and provide direction in your life.
